Market Description

The biggest determining factors in ride quality and suspension performance are coil springs and shocks. Skyjacker specifically engineered a progressive 2-stage dual rate long travel coil. Spring rate progression is from a 1st Flex Rate to a 2nd Ride Rate. The 1st Flex Rate stage delivers a comfortable ride with the ability to flex for increased articulation. The flex rate expands during full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop). This keeps the coil springs seated in the upper coil mount/bucket and the tires in contact with the terrain. The 2nd Ride Rate stage only engages after compression past the flex rate. Engineered to coordinate with the Wranglers distinctive suspension handling characteristics, the rear coils are side specific. Shocks are a key link in-between the chassis and your suspension. Their key role is to dampen out or control the terrain to keep your tires in contact with the terrain. Front damper capacity enhanced with M95 Monotube Shocks. M95 Shocks have specific valving and stroke for this application. The high-pressure nitrogen gas and Internal Floating Piston technology combine to create the most rapid responding shock ever. The replacement Front Adjustable Track Bar includes Skyjacker installed pressed-in HD OEM style rubber bushing and an adjustable 3/4-inch Heavy-Duty Rod End, Jam Nut and Alignment Bushings. A heavy duty Rear Track Bar Upper Mount Bracket is included to center the axle under the vehicle properly. Front and Rear Bump Stop Spacers bolt onto the axle bump pads and keep the suspension travel safely in check. Front and Rear Extended Length Sway Bar End Links allow full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop). These sway bar end links include Skyjacker installed pressed-in HD OEM style rubber bushings.
